Peritoneal dialysis after failed kidney transplantation; a case series with review of the literature

Kidney transplantation is a definite treatment for end-stage renal disease (ESRD). However, management of allograft dysfunction has remained major challenge and some patients return to dialysis after transplantation. Studies showed that peritoneal (PD) results in higher chance survival lower risk delayed compared hemodialysis (HD). For this reason, study explored the initiation PD six with Tabriz Imam Reza hospital (referral center). This case reported incremental among these failed kidney Creatinine hemoglobin levels, duration starting PD, exchange, modality, immunosuppressive drugs mortality rate urine volume were evaluated during study. In conclusion, although re-transplantation gold standard therapy transplant patients, or could be suitable home-based modality preserving function output patients.
